Jeff McManus grows things. As the Director of Landscape Services at the University of Mississippi, he grows plants...he grows people...he grows ideas. Jeff is a problem-solver, understanding that doing more with less is a 21st century mandate. Faced with a multi-million dollar landscaping beautification project, a demand for excellence, high productivity, and with a stagnant budget, Jeff knew that growing the people was critical to growing the plants. Understanding that all humans either have or strive for the innate elements of Greatness, Resiliency, Opportunity and Wisdom, Jeff developed his GROW-theory into an impactful management and professional development leadership program for his staff.

Taking his grounds employees, affectionately known as “weeders”, and developing them into “leaders” has been a joyous challenge that reaped acres of rewards in the form of national recognition by the Princeton Review, PGMS, Newsweek and every faculty, staff, student and visitor who has walked onto the Ole Miss Campus. Building on that momentum, Jeff has designed a professional development plan for his Weeders called Landscape University. His message rings true for any industry leader or manager looking to grow a high-performance and dedicated workforce.

Digital Marketing Strategist and entrepreneur Joel Widmer understands how to help businesses systematize marketing success. He is the Founder & CEO of Dallas-based Fluxe Digital Marketing—a marketing shop that specializes in helping companies turn their best ideas into consistent content for lead generation and retention without writing a word.

Fluxe was started after Widmer saw too many brilliant people and businesses struggle through the same grind year after year—trying to create their own content and market it. Especially when they know they should be working on growing their business - not writing another article. The problem is outsourcing content isn’t reliable and doing it right internally means hiring a team for the research, writing, graphics, editing, publishing and promotion. Then you’re left to manage the process every month.

That’s where Fluxe comes in. Fluxe works by helping smart businesses create, produce & promote world-class content through a customized, one-on-one interview process. This unique process ultimately saves Widmer’s clients valuable time without sacrificing the client’s writing style. Fluxe becomes your full dedicated content marketing team for less than one employee.

In addition, Widmer loves teaching and has created multiple online courses for 15,000+ students.

Based in Grapevine, Texas, with roots in Oregon and Tennessee, when he’s not pursuing his passion for helping amazing companies communicate ideas and stories, you can find him trying a new restaurants, snowboarding and spending time with his wife and son.

Cecilia Stevenson is an accomplished Freelance Video Producer and Editor who is a rare example of someone who doesn't just talk about her faith, but lives it as well. Cecilia has been involved in the production of videos for FedEx Office, American Heart Association, Texas A&M Athletic Department, Petmate, the Diocese of Dallas and many others.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Cecilia's interest in video production started in high school when she got into making music videos with her brothers. After graduating high school, she went to college at the great Texas A&M University to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Media Studies. She graduated in May of 2014 and in January of 2015 moved to North Dallas to work as an intern for a local video production company, Eyecon Video. After 4 months of interning with Eyecon, she was hired on full time as their Production Coordinator. After a year and a half of working full time at Eyecon, she decided to leave at the end of 2016 to pursue freelancing. And that's where she's been since January of 2017 - living the freelance life, enjoying every second of it, and thanking God every day for the opportunities he has placed before her.
