As the Vice President of Talent Management at projekt202, Karen King is responsible for ensuring they find talented people who are passionate about their craft to join their team, as well as partnering with leaders to develop their people and create a motivational workplace.  Recognized in 2015 by the Dallas Business Journal and the Dallas Morning News as one of the Best Places To Work, projekt202 is sought out by many as the place to share their talents and further their careers.  

With over 25 years of experience as an HR leader, strategist and business partner, Karen has played a key role in establishing and developing HR processes, and enabling companies such as Capital One, Alliance Data, Sapient and Rosewood to grow. Karen is passionate about helping companies develop more engaged, productive places to work. Her work encompasses multiple industries such as finance, higher education, technology, communications and more.   

Karen has earned a BBA in Management from Texas Tech University.  She is also SPHR and SHRM-SCP certified.  Over Karen’s career, she has also served as Conference Director for HR Southwest, President of Dallas HRMA and on the Board of Trustees for Dallas HRMA.
